Tips for a better result
- 01Get close to the microphone.
About a hand away from the mouth gives a clear voice with less room echo.
- 02Choose a quiet room.
Soft things like curtains and sofas reduce echo.
- 03Leave the screen on.
On a phone, a locked screen can stop the recording.
- 04Polish it afterwards.
Use "Make a recording sound better" or "Even out the volume" on the file you downloaded.
Common questions
Is my recording sent anywhere?
No. The recording is made and saved on your own device, and the file is not sent to any server.
Is there a time limit?
No fixed limit. Very long recordings use more memory, so on a phone it is best to keep them under an hour and leave the screen on.
Which format should I choose?
MP3 or M4A for a small file to send. WAV or FLAC if you will edit the audio and want no loss.
Can I record music?
Yes. Turn off "Clean up the voice" so the browser does not treat the instrument as noise.
