What people use it for

  • Ringtones

Keep just the chorus, the 20 or 30 seconds you want to hear when someone calls.

  • Clips for Stories and Reels

Pull out the part of the song that goes in the video.

  • Cleaning up a recording

Remove the "testing, testing" at the start and the silence at the end.

  • Keeping only what matters

Save one part of a class, talk, meeting or podcast.

  • Music for a presentation

Cut the exact part that will play at the party, the event or the school video.

Tips for cutting in the right spot

  1. 01
    Listen before downloading.

The play button plays only the selected part.

  2. 02
    Fine-tune with the keyboard.

On a computer, click a handle and use the arrow keys: each press moves half a second.

  3. 03
    MP3 or WAV?

MP3 to send and post, because it is smaller. WAV if you will keep editing the audio in another program.

  4. 04
    Cut it wrong?

The original file does not change. Adjust the handles and download again.

Common questions

Is this a song cutter or an audio cutter?

Both. It cuts songs, voice recordings, podcasts or any audio file: MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG or FLAC. You keep only the part between the two handles.

How do I cut the beginning or end of a song?

Drag the left handle to where the part you want starts and the right handle to where it ends. Press listen to check, then download.

Can I use it as an audio clipper for a short clip?

Yes. Select a few seconds, for a sound effect, a story or an intro, and download only that clip.

Can I make a ringtone with it?

Yes. Cut the 20 or 30 seconds you want and download the MP3.

Does the quality drop?

In WAV the cut comes out with no loss. In MP3 it is saved at 192 kbps, which sounds the same to most ears.

Is there a size limit?

There is no limit set by the site. Very long files can be too heavy for the memory of a phone.
